Ask anyone in the arts: it takes a lot to make a play, a film, a festival, and in the pressure cooker that is New York, it can seem a daunting task to bring what’s in your heart out onto a stage. Working at an independent theatre in Hell’s Kitchen, being an actor and director myself, and having my roots in painting and visual art, I have had the privilege of a unique view of what it takes to do so. More than anything, I’ve come to believe that collaboration is the lifeblood of creative work, and I’ve had the opportunity over the last ten years to contribute to many productions both in the city, and regionally.
I offer a niche service in the creation of props, posters, backdrops, piece-specific portraits, and any and all artistic needs your production may require. I specialize in hand-written, calligraphic, and historically accurate paper props, and work in a wide range of media, from sculpture to embroidery, oil painting to pen and ink.
Most importantly, I love a creative challenge! There’s nothing more satisfying to me than rolling up my sleeves, to help bring a vision to life!
